View notifications from your home or lock screen

You see your notifications directly on your lock screen or when you swipe the status bar down on your home screen. From there you can:

• Respond to a notification. From your lock screen, double touch it and enter your PIN, pattern, or password to unlock your screen and open the associated app. From your home screen, touch it to open the associated app. Some notifications include actions at the bottom that let you complete common tasks without opening the full app.
• Expand a notification. Actions for a notification are hidden if you have lots of notifications. Drag a notification down to reveal any actions.
• Dismiss a notification. Swipe it sideways.
• Clear all notifications. Swipe to the end of your notifications and touch . Some notifications, like voicemails, require an action and cannot be dismissed.

TipTo turn off notifications from an app, touch & hold the notification, then touch and turn Block on.
