Manage lock screen notifications

You can control which notifications appear on your lock screen. You can have all notifications and their content be accessible, hide sensitive content, or choose not to show notifications at all.

1. Go to Settings > Sound & notification > When device is locked.

2. Do one of the following:

   • To show all notifications and their content, touch Show all notification content.
   • To hide sensitive content for notifications from all apps, touch Hide sensitive notification content. For example, you'll get a notification for an incoming email or chat, but the contents will not show on the lock screen.
   • To hide sensitive content for notifications from certain apps, touch Show all notification content and mark those apps as Sensitive in Settings > Sound & notification > App notifications.
   • To hide all notifications, touch Don't show notifications at all.
