Answer or divert calls
When you receive a phone call, the Incoming call screen shows the caller ID. If you miss a call, you see 
in the status bar.
When a call arrives, you can:
- silence the ringer before answering the call. press Volume Down on the side of the phone.
- Answer the call. Drag
to 
on the lock screen. - Answer hands-free while driving or at home. When using the Talk to me feature in Assist, say ‘Answer’ or ‘Ignore’.
- divert the call to voicemail. drag to
or press the Power button. You can also automatically divert all calls from a specified number to voicemail. - respond with a text message. Drag to
. You can customise these default messages.
Block numbers
To block all calls and text messages from a number, you can request a block from your carrier or download a number blocking app from Play Store.
If text messages aren't a problem and you just don't want to answer calls from a number, you can save a recent call from that number to your contacts and then send all its calls to voicemail.
