Set ringtones
You can choose a unique ringtone for calls from specific people so that you'll know instantly who's calling. All other calls use the default ringtone.
You can change or silence ringtones but you can only delete ringtones that you added to the phone.
Change the default ringtone
- Go to Settings > Sound.
Adjust the settings:
Touch Phone ringtone and select a ringtone or select None if you don't want the phone to ring.
- Touch Vibrate when ringing to use vibrate with, or instead of, a ringtone. (To extend the battery life, turn vibrate off.)
Set ringtones for contacts
- Touch

and then touch the name of the person. - Touch
> Set ringtone. - Select a ringtone to use. Or touch Default ringtone to revert to the default.
Contact-specific ringtones apply only to phone calls, not to notifications of text or email messages from that person.
