Apps installed from Google Play can be re-installed from Google Play.

You can also backup apps to your computer.

1. Connect device with LMSA using USB cable.
2. On Device tab, click App.

3. Do any of the following:

   • To export apps from your device to your computer, select the apps you want to export, then click Export.
   • To install an app from your computer, click Import. Only install apps from trusted sources.
   • To uninstall apps that you installed from your device, select the apps you want to uninstall, then click Uninstall. System apps cannot be uninstalled, but can be downgraded to the version provided with the device.

1. Connect device with LMSA using USB cable.
2. On Device tab, click Photos.
3. Click to sort photos by time taken, or to view as thumbnails.

4. Do any of the following:

   • To export photos to your computer, select the photos you want to export, click Export, then select a folder.
   • To import photos from your computer, click Import, then select the photos you want to import.
   • To delete one photo, hover over the photo and click the icon.
   • To delete multiple photos, select the photos you want to delete, then click Delete.

2. On Device tab, click Songs.
3. To sort songs, click a column heading. To play songs, use the music controls at bottom of window.

4. Do any of the following:

   • To export songs to your computer, select the songs you want to export, click Export, then select a folder.
   • To import songs from your computer, click Import, then select the songs you want to import. If you don’t see the imported songs, click Refresh.
   • To delete songs, select the songs you want to delete, then click Delete.
   • To use a song as a ringtone, click then select a ringtone type.

3. To sort videos, click a column heading.

   To play a video, use a video player on your device.

4. Do any of the following:

   • To export videos to your computer, select the videos you want to export, click Export, then select a folder.
   • To import videos from your computer, click Import, then select the videos you want to import. If you don’t see the imported videos, click Refresh.
   • To delete videos, select the videos you want to delete, then click Delete.

2. On Device tab, click Contacts.

3. On Contact tab, do any of the following:

   • To add a contact, click Add Contact
   • To export contacts to your computer, select the contacts you want to export, click Export, then select a folder. Contacts are saved in a VCF (Virtual Contact File or vCard) file.
   • To import contacts from your computer, click Import, then select the contacts you want to import (VCF file format). If you don’t see the imported contacts, click Refresh.
   • To delete contacts, select the contacts you want to delete, then click Delete.
   • To edit a contact, click Detail > Edit.
   • To create a contact group, click [+] icon in Group pane.

3. On Call Log tab, do any of the following:

   • To export call history to your computer, select the calls you want to export, click Export, then select a folder.
   • To import call history from your computer, click Import, then select the *.calllog file you want to import. If you don’t see the imported call history, click Refresh.
   • To delete calls from the call history, select the contacts you want to delete, then click Delete.

2. On Device tab, click SMS.

3. Do any of the following:

   • To export text messages to your computer, select the messages you want to export, click Export, then select a folder.
   • To import text messages from your computer, click Import, then select the *.sms file you want to import. If you don’t see the imported videos, click Refresh.
   • To forward a text message, hover pointer over message you want to forward, then click Forward below the message, in the Forward box enter the number of the recipient, click or edit the message text, and click Send.
   • To create a contact from a message, select a message from the contact you want to save, then click Save contact.

To delete text messages, do one of the following:

• To delete all messages for a contact, select the contact, then click Delete at the top of the window.
• To delete some messages for a contact, select the contact, then click Delete below the message you want to delete.

To reply to messages from LMSA:

1. Open the message for which you want to reply.
2. Type your reply in the Reply box.
3. Click Send.

LMSA can copy files between your computer and phone. To delete files from your phone use a file manager app on your phone.

1. Connect device with LMSA using USB cable.

2. On Device tab, click File management.

   LMSA shows your computer’s file system and your phone’s storage.

3. Do any of the following:

   • To copy files from your phone, drag files from phone to a folder on your computer.
   • To copy files from your computer, drag files from computer to a folder on your phone.
   • To delete a file, select the file, then press the Delete key on your computer. Only delete files that you added to the device.

Back up device content to your computer to migrate the content to another device, or before resetting the device firmware.

To backup your device:

1. Connect device with LMSA using USB cable.
2. On Device tab, click Backup & restore.
3. On the Backup tab, selected the types of files you want to back up.
4. To change where backed up files are stored on our computer, click Change.
5. In the Notes box, type an optional description of the backup, which helps determine which backup you may want to restore later.
6. Click Backup.

To restore all files from a backup:

1. Connect device with LMSA using USB cable.
2. On Device tab, click Backup & restore.
3. On the Restore tab, select the backup that you want to restore, then click Restore.

To restore specific file types from a backup:

1. Connect device with LMSA using USB cable.
2. On Device tab, click Backup & restore.
3. On the Restore tab, select the backup that contains the files you want to restore, then click Extract.
4. Click Restore, then select the type(s) of files you want to restore.
5. Click Restore

LMSA can copy content from one device to another connected device.

1. Use USB cables to connect both devices to your computer.
2. Set From as the device you want to copy from, and To as the target device.
3. Click Next.

4. Select the types of files you want to copy to the target device, then click Next.

   LMSA backs up the selected file types from the old device.

5. Click Next to copy files to target device.

   LMSA notifies you if the target device doesn’t have enough free space.

6. If any files failed to copy, click Retry to try again.
