If your device doesn’t have enough storage space or does not have access to Wi-Fi, you can use LMSA to download and install firmware (software) updates.
If your device has access to Wi-Fi and enough storage, you can use Settings > System > Advanced > System updates to install updates without using LMSA.
Installing device software updates does not remove your content or apps.
