To use Motorola Connect, your phone must be connected to the internet through a mobile data or Wi‑Fi connection.
For best performance, use a Wi‑Fi connection and keep Wi‑Fi on when the phone sleeps:
- Swipe the status bar down with two fingers and touch
SETTINGS > Wi‑Fi. - Touch
> Advanced > Keep Wi‑Fi on during sleep. - Touch Always.
When using a mobile data connection, you may experience delayed notifications in the following cases:
- Your carrier uses mobile data connection timeouts.
- Your network doesn’t support a mobile data connection during incoming or live calls.
- Your phone or computer has a poor Wi‑Fi or mobile data connection.
Using Motorola Connect with multiple computers
You can use Motorola Connect to view notifications from one phone on multiple computers if each Chrome browser is signed into the same Google account as the phone.
To view the number of computers currently connected to your phone and the account you are signed into, swipe the status bar down with two fingers and touch
SETTINGS > Motorola Connect, then look for the status under Motorola Connect.
To automatically sign out of all Motorola Connect extensions on computers that are currently online, uncheck Motorola Connect on your phone.
To connect again:
- On your phone, check Motorola Connect.
- In Chrome on each computer, click
to sign into Motorola Connect.
