External display

In Settings, you can adjust what is shown on the external display and what happens when you flip the phone open or closed.

Change animated clockface

  1. Go to Settings > External display > Clockfaces.

  2. Tap Themes and select a design.
  3. Tap .

Change panels

You can swipe left/right to move between panels.

Add, reorder, remove panels

Go to Settings > External display > Panels, then:

  • Add or remove panels by turning them on or off .
  • To reorder panels, drag a panel, then release in its new position. You can't move the Home (clock) panel.

Add/remove favorite contacts

To change who shows on the Contacts panel, use the Contacts app to add or remove contacts from your star icon favorites.

Change what happens to calls when you open or close phone

Flip your phone open to answer an incoming call, and close it to end a call.

To change how your phone handles calls:

  1. Go to Settings > External display > Call settings.

  2. Adjust settings:

    • If you don’t want to automatically answer a call when you flip your phone open, turn Flip open to answer off .
    • Set Flip close action to either disconnect or continue the call when you close the phone.
