Read, reply, forward, or delete messages
When you receive a text message, you'll see 
in the status bar.
Read or reply
- Swipe the status bar down and touch
. - To respond to the message, enter your response in the text box and touch
.
.Tip
You can save photos from messages.
If you do not want multi-recipient SMS messages converted to MMS and want replies sent in separate conversation threads to you only, you can turn off group messaging.
Delete
- Single message: Open the thread (conversation) and touch & hold the message, then touch Delete.
- All messages from a thread: Open the thread (conversation) and touch
> Delete. - All threads from the Messaging app: Go to your message list and touch > Delete all threads. Be careful - there's no way to undo this.
