Transfer stuff from your old phone

If your old phone was an Android device and you saved your contacts, photos, music, and apps to your Google account, then everything is available from your new phone when you sign in to that Google account.

Get contacts from your old SIM card

  1. Insert the old SIM card with your contacts in your new phone.
  2. Touch > Contacts.
  3. Touch > Import/export.
  4. Touch Import from SIM card.
  5. Select the contacts to import. To import all at once, touch > Import all.

Get contacts from your old iPhone

If your contacts are saved to iCloud:

  1. On your iPhone, make sure your contacts are synced to your iCloud account.
  2. Export your contacts from iCloud:

    1. On your computer, go to icloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
    2. Click Contacts > > Select All.
    3. Click > Export vCard. The file will be saved on your computer.
  3. Import your contacts to your Google account:

    1. On your computer, go to gmail.com and log in.
    2. Click Mail and change to Contacts.
    3. Click More > Import > Choose file and select your saved vCard file.

If your contacts are stored directly on your iPhone:

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
  2. Open iTunes.
  3. Click iPhone.
  4. On the Info tab, check Sync Contacts with.
  5. Choose Google Contacts and enter your Google account information when prompted.
  6. Wait for your iPhone to sync before disconnecting.

Copy your Play Store apps

  1. On your old phone, back up your apps and settings to your Google account.
  2. On your new phone, add your Google account.

Transfer your music

If your music is on your old phone, upload your music to your Google account.

If your music is on your computer, transfer it to your phone using a USB cable.
