Show your phone’s screen on HDTV with wireless display. Play a slideshow or games, watch movies, browse the web, use your apps — whatever you do on your phone is mirrored on your HDTV. To get started, you need a Miracast™ compatible HDTV or a Miracast wireless display adapter to connect to your HDTV (available at electronics retailers). After an easy setup, your devices communicate directly and do not require a shared Wi‑Fi router connection.
To pair your phone with a wireless display adapter or Miracast-compatible HDTV:
Do one of the following:
Your phone will start connecting to the wireless display. If prompted to enter a PIN, enter your PIN, which may be visible on the HDTV.
The devices connect, and your phone screen is mirrored on your HDTV. When wireless display is on, you see
in the status bar.
To instantly connect to the last display used the next time you turn on Wireless Display, on the phone’s Wireless Display screen, tick Auto-connect.
Swipe the status bar down with two fingers.
