Add custom sounds

You can customise your phone with ringtones, notifications and alarms that are already installed. Or you can download and create custom sounds to reflect your personal style.

To get custom sounds:

Download ringtones from Play Store.
Use a ringtone maker app from Play Store to create sounds on your phone.
Drag and drop sounds from a computer using a USB connection.

Sound files must be in MP3 (.mp3) format.

Drag and drop sounds from a computer

On the computer, create or download a sound and save it as .mp3.
Connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable.
On your computer, drag the .mp3 file from the computer to the appropriate folder on the phone: Ringtones, Notifications or Alarms.

When you open sound settings on your phone, the new sound is displayed in the list of options.

TipIf the new sound does not appear as an option, restart the phone.
