Organize photos and videos

Create albums or tag people so you can view and share by person.

Organize with albums

  1. Open the Gallery app.
  2. Touch > Albums.

  3. Do any of the following:

    • To create an album, touch .
    • To move photos between albums, touch & hold the photos to select them, then touch Move to and select or create an album.

Organize by person

Tag family and friends in existing photos and videos. As you take new photos and videos, the Gallery app continues to group them using face recognition. Then you can quickly find photos and videos and easily create highlight reels of your favorite person to view and share.

To turn face recognition on:

  1. Open the Gallery app.
  2. Touch > Settings.

  3. Turn Face Recognition on.

    NoteTurning face recognition off removes all of the tags you have created for people.

To tag someone:

  1. Open the Gallery app.
  2. Touch > Tag someone.
  3. Touch one or more thumbnails of the same person, then touch Next.
  4. Enter the person’s name and touch OK.

You can now find photos and videos under the person’s name in Gallery > > People and you can create highlight reels of that person.
