Stop phone from speaking

Some voice commands (like “What's up?” and “What is the current weather?”) cause your phone to speak in response.

To prevent your phone from speaking:

  1. Turn off Moto Voice. Open the Moto app. Then touch > Voice and uncheck Moto Voice.
  2. Turn off Google speech output. Touch > Google Settings. Then touch Search & Now > Voice > Speech output.
