Search connected devices

Enter keywords into the search box at the top of Smart Connect to find apps, photos, and files across devices that are paired and connected. Cloud content is not included.

To adjust search scope:

1. On your PC, open Smart Connect and go to Settings > Search.
2. To include recently viewed files, enable Show recent files.

3. To include results from your PC, when searching from your PC, enable Include PC results in search.

   When searching from your phone, enable Include phone files in search in Smart Connect on your phone.

4. For best performance, under Search index select Selective search, click Edit, then select the folders you want to include in searches.
