If your device’s battery is not removable without tools

To avoid damage to your battery and device, and injury to yourself:

  • For a battery that should only be removed by a Motorola-approved service center or similar skilled personnel:

    • Don't try to remove or replace the battery yourself.
    • Don't try to take apart or fix your mobile device.
  • For a battery that can be removed by suitably competent individuals following Motorola-approved repair and service manuals:

    • Don't remove or replace the battery other than as instructed in Motorola-approved repair and service manuals.
    • Don't take apart or fix your mobile device other than as instructed in Motorola-approved repair and service manuals.
    • To ensure continued regulatory compliance and product safety, only use batteries approved by Motorola.
  • Don't crush, bend (except for normal hinge use), or expose your mobile device to heat or liquid.
  • Don’t put your phone in a microwave oven, conventional oven, or dryer.

If your device’s battery is user-removable

To avoid damage to your battery and injury to yourself:

  • Don’t use tools, sharp objects, or excessive force to insert or remove the battery.
  • Don’t try to take apart or fix your battery.
  • Don’t crush, bend (except for normal hinge use), or expose your battery or mobile device to heat or liquid.
  • Only use batteries approved by Lenovo, which contain safety circuitry and are designed to give the best performance.
  • Don’t put your phone in a microwave oven, conventional oven, or dryer.
