The Moto AI Beta Program Privacy Statement (“Privacy Statement”) describes: (i) how Lenovo collects, uses, stores, or otherwise processes an individual's personal data in the context of the new unreleased Moto AI artificial intelligence app prior to its general availability (including all features and functionalities thereof, whether existing or added in the future) (the “Moto AI Beta app”); and (ii) the data sharing relationship between the Moto AI Beta app and third parties to whom personal data is shared.
Before you proceed with the registration of your Moto AI Beta app, we want you to know that using the Moto AI Beta app will involve certain data processing activities of your personal data by Lenovo and its partners. In this Privacy Statement, “Lenovo”, “we”, or “us” refers to Lenovo Group Ltd and its affiliated group companies, including Motorola Mobility LLC (“Motorola”). Lenovo will process your personal data as a data controller of your personal information.
This Privacy Statement governs the relationship between you and Lenovo, and the specific personal data processing activities conducted in connection with the Moto AI Beta app on your Motorola device. This Privacy Statement supplements the Motorola Mobility Product Privacy Statement which sets forth, among other things, how Lenovo handles your personal data, a description of your data protection rights and how you can exercise them, how we may share your personal information, or how we protect personal data in our products.
Please be aware that personal data means any information which is related to an identified or identifiable natural person.
When you choose to install and use the Moto AI Beta app, Lenovo requires you to provide certain personal data, as described in the table below, to complete registration and for the purpose of enabling you to use the Moto AI Beta app features in performance of the Moto AI Beta Program Terms and Conditions.
When you use the Moto AI Beta app, data is generated and processed. Please see the following table below for more detailed information regarding the categories of personal data being generated and processed by the Moto AI Beta app.

We will not intentionally collect additional categories of personal data without informing you. However, we will have access to all information processed pursuant to your use of the Moto AI Beta app. We cannot control what personal data you or other users of the Moto AI Beta app process in the Moto AI Beta app that does not reasonably fit with our defined purposes for which we process your personal data. If we process any personal data that is not described in this Privacy Statement, we will process that personal data according to this Privacy Statement and pursuant to applicable data protection laws.

In order to provide the Moto AI Beta app, we will share your information with following service providers:

As part of Lenovo’s data processor arrangement with them, Lenovo requires that these service providers maintain information security best practices, make all reasonable efforts to secure your data, and only process your data for the purposes listed in the tables above.
The Moto AI Beta app may contain links to websites or applications where you may share your personal data, such as news services, marketing agencies, and advertising partners or other third parties. The personal data you share on such websites or applications is not subject to this Privacy Statement. We are not responsible for the processing of your personal data by such websites or applications. To learn how our partners handle your personal data, please review their privacy notices or statements.
When we design a product or service, we focus on delivering the best user experience. In order to do so, we will process personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, but we will only retain your personal information as long as necessary to achieve proper performance of the product or service or other compelling purposes, and to securely delete personal data when those purposes of use have been satisfied. In some cases, we may need to retain your personal data when it is required by law.

Our mission is to be as transparent as possible.
We might update this Privacy Statement to let you know about any changes in the way the Moto AI Beta app or Lenovo process your personal data and ask you if you are happy with those changes when necessary by law. We will let you know via e-mail about such changes to make sure you are up to date. By continuing to use the Moto AI Beta app after we post any of these changes, you accept the updated Privacy Statement.
