Fix a problem

Photos or videos have halo or are blurred

For the best image quality, use a soft, clean cloth to keep the lenses free from dust and smudges.

Resolution of 4K 360° video appears less than regular 4K video

All 360° videos captured at 4K resolution spread the pixels across a much larger space than regular videos, so the pixels are further apart. 4K videos created by your Moto 360 Camera have the same or better quality as other 4K 360° cameras.

Phone feels warm

Your phone may become warm while working with 360° videos and photos, which require more processing power than most tasks. This behavior is normal. The 360 Camera will automatically stop if the phone temperature becomes too high.

General troubleshooting tips

For best performance, keep your 360 Camera software up to date.

A software update for your 360 Camera may fix a problem that you’re experiencing. Your phone notifies you when an 360 Camera software update is available, but you can check for updates anytime.

To check if a software update is available:

  1. Attach 360 Camera to your phone.
  2. Go to Settings > Moto Mods > About this Moto Mod.
  3. Touch Software updates.
  4. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Restarting 360 Camera can clear up some issues. Go to Settings > Moto Mods > About this Moto Mod > Restart Moto Mod.
