For best performance, keep your watch and related apps updated with the latest software.

When an Android Wear update is available for your watch you'll recieve a notification when you swipe up on your watch face. You'll need to fully charge the battery before installing the update.

To check if an Android Wear update is available:

1. If your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch.
2. Swipe left , then scroll to and touch Settings .
3. Scroll to and touch About > System updates.
4. To check for updates, touch System updates.

When an upgrade is available for the Connect or Android Wear app, you'll receive a notification on your phone.

2. Swipe left , then scroll to and touch Settings .
3. Scroll to and touch About > Versions.
4. You'll see your watch's version number under Android Wear.
