Use other camera tools

Use your external display as a mirror. The high quality cameras let you to zoom in for details.

1. With the phone closed, open the camera:

   • Twist the phone twice.
   • Or, double press the Power button.
2. For the best angle, turn your phone so the camera is at the top.
3. Tap Photo > Mirror and take a look.

4. To zoom in/out, tap then drag up/down.

   

5. To take a selfie from the mirror:

   • To add optional frame, tap > . To see another frame, tap again.
   • To add optional filter effect, like cracked glass or frost, touch & hold the screen. Move your finger and touch & hold again to see the next effect.
   • Tap the screen or press the Volume up button to take the photo.

Scan paper documents to save them as JPG files.

1. Swipe the modes sideways to Scan.

2. If needed:

   • Tap to turn the light on.
   • Switch camera lenses.
3. Position the document within the frame on the screen. You’ll see the detected area highlighted.
4. Tap .
5. The scanned document opens in Adobe Scan, which you can use to crop, rotate, apply filters, and mark up the content.
6. To save, tap .

To view or share the scanned document later, use the Adobe Scan app, Photos app or Files app.

You can use Google Lens to:

• Search for information about objects and surroundings: Learn about products, landmarks and buildings, plants and animals, books and visual art
• Scan barcodes and QR codes: Search for related information, open a website to purchase a product
• Digitize real-world text: Copy text to paste in another app, translate text, save business card information to Contacts, create calendar events from dates on posters or billboards

To use Google Lens:

1. In the Camera app, tap on the screen.

   If you don't see , make sure Google Lens is on. At the top of the screen, tap .

2. Frame the item you want to learn about and tap .

3. Tap the item you want to learn about.

   For text, tap it to select it, and use to select more.

4. In the list of results:

   • Review results, then tap a selection to view it or take the suggested action.
   • To crop the area of your search for more accurate results, adjust the frame corners.
