Switch lenses

On the Camera screen, tap the icon to switch between the lenses on the back of your phone.

Macro

Capture up-close details.

.5x Ultra-wide

Use for landscapes, architecture, and group shots.

Captures more of the scene than the standard lens.

1x Standard

Best for everyday photos and low-light situations.

Is the most versatile lens, with reliable performance in most conditions.

2x Telephoto

Great for extreme details at a distance and crisp close-ups.

Brings you closer, with better detail than digital zoom.

Take a panoramic photo

  1. Swipe the modes sideways to More and tap Panorama.
  2. Frame one side of the scene.
  3. Tap shutter icon, then slowly pan horizontally or vertically across the scene. Keep your motion smooth and use a steady speed.
  4. When you reach the end of your scene, tap stop-recording icon.

Use ultra-res to zoom later

When you capture a scene using ultra-resolution mode on the main camera, you can pinch to zoom into any area of your photo for amazing detail.

Ultra high-resolution photos:

  • Work best with outdoor lighting.
  • Have more pixels and are larger in file size.
  • Are great if you want to print the image.
  • Can be cropped to create many detailed photos from the single image.

To take an ultra high-resolution photo:

  1. Swipe the modes sideways to More and tap Ultra-Res.
  2. Tap the screen where you want the focus and drag the ring if needed.
  3. To capture, press a Volume button. Or, use another capture method.

Adjust resolution and aspect ratio

Before taking a photo, you can adjust the file size (resolution) and the image dimensions (aspect ratio).

Lower resolution photos take up less space, but have lower image quality.

To change the resolution:

  1. Tap settings icon.
  2. Select the resolution for front or rear photos.

To change the dimensions, tap the current setting on the screen and select another: 3:4, 1:1, 9:16, or full screen.
