Your phone automatically identifies the type of media you're playing and adjusts sound for that experience. You don't have to do anything.

You can select a preset sound profile for your loudspeaker, headphones, or other connected device, and your phone will remember the next time you connect it.

1. Go to Settings > Sound & vibration > Audio effects.
2. Touch Settings.

3. Choose how to adjust sound:

   • To automatically adjust based on the media playing, turn Auto on .
   • To use a preset sound profile, turn Auto off , then select Music, Movie, Game, or Podcast.

4. To customize a selected sound profile, next to the profile name tap , then:

   • Choose an equalizer preset to enhance treble, bass, or vocals.
   • To refine bass, adjust the Bass boost slider.
   • To keep the same volume level when you switch between audio sources, turn Volume leveler on.
   • To learn more about these settings, touch > Help.
   • To revert to original profile settings, tap > Reset.

To show or hide Audio effects in your list of apps:

1. Go to Settings > Sound & vibration > Audio effects.

   Or, open the Moto app and touch > Play > Audio effects.

2. Touch > Show icon in the app tray or Hide icon in app tray.

To add or remove Audio effects in quick settings:

1. Open quick settings.

2. Touch , then:

   • To add, drag where you want it in the upper panel.
   • To remove, drag from the upper to lower panel.
