Use a wireless sound system

Use your phone to create a wireless stereo sound system. Connect multiple Bluetooth audio devices, then listen to content on them simultaneously.

If you'll be streaming music over Wi-Fi, your router must be set to 5GHz to connect multiple devices; 2.4GHz supports only one device.

To connect to multiple audio devices:

1. Be sure the audio device you want to connect to is ON (and in pairing mode if required).

2. On the phone, go to Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Wireless Sound System and turn it on .

   You'll see in the status bar.

   The phone searches for available Bluetooth audio device connections. If you're paired with other non-audio Bluetooth devices, those connections will temporarily pause.

3. Select the audio devices to use.

4. Do any of the following:

   • To access device settings, next to the device name, touch .
   • To set stereo system speaker options, touch > Stereo system.
   • To disconnect a device, next to the device name, touch > FORGET.

5. Play your music or content.

   Wireless Sound System mode automatically turns off if you haven't used the audio device connections for a prolonged period.
