Improve video playback

If bandwidth limitations prevent high-resolution video streaming, you can set your phone to enhance video resolution during playback for improved clarity.

When Video resolution is on, AI scaler super resolution (AIS):

  • Upscales 2X for 540p and 720p
  • Upscales 3X for resolutions below 480p
  • Enhances clarity up to 2560 × 1440

This feature uses more battery power because of the intensive calculations.

To turn it on/off:

  1. Go to Settings > Display.

  2. Turn Video resolution on toggle on switch for better playback.

    If you’re low on battery, turn it off toggle off switch.
