Stop automatic rotation

Prevent screen from rotating

To lock into portrait mode:

  1. Go to Settings > Display > When device is rotated.

  2. Touch Stay in portrait view.
TipTo quickly switch between auto-rotate and portrait modes, open quick settings and touch or .

Allow screen to rotate

To switch back to auto-rotate mode, touch Rotate the contents of the screen.
