Open apps faster

To improve performance, your phone can temporarily turn unused storage into extended RAM (temporary memory where your phone puts data it needs to retrieve quickly) when you need extra speed. The result? You can open apps faster and keep more open at the same time for smoother multitasking.

To turn this feature on or off:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Performance.
  2. To use phone storage to extend RAM and improve performance, turn RAM boost on toggle on switch.
