Set screen recording options

To adjust settings before recording your screen:

  1. Open recording options:

    • In quick settings, touch & hold .
    • Or, go to Settings > Display > Screen record.
  2. Use the Viewfinder size option to resize the small frame that shows you when the camera is on during screen recording.
  3. To show screen touches, turn Record touch points on toggle on switch.

  4. Adjust the quality or file size as needed:

    • If you want the best quality recording, use the highest resolution.
    • To minimize the recording file size, select a lower resolution.
    • You can set a maximum length (Record time limit) and maximum file size (File size limit). If you reach the limit, recording automatically stops and you’ll hear a chime.
