Control mobile data usage with SIM lock
Your SIM card came with a default PIN from your carrier. You can add a SIM lock that uses this PIN to control mobile data usage.
If you add a SIM lock, you will need to enter the PIN each time you swap SIM cards or restart the phone.
NoteBefore you use a SIM lock, have your carrier-provided PIN ready to enter. If you enter an incorrect PIN multiple times, the SIM will be disabled and you will need to contact your carrier to re-enable it.
- Go to Settings > Security > Set up SIM card lock.
- Touch Lock SIM card.
- Enter your carrier-provided PIN and follow the onscreen instructions.
