Stop phone from speaking

Some voice commands (like “What's up?” and “What is the current weather?”) cause your phone to speak in response.

To stop the phone from speaking temporarily, touch .

To prevent your phone from speaking:

1. Touch > Google.
2. Touch Search & Now > Voice.
3. Turn off Speech output.

1. Touch & hold a blank area on your home screen, then touch SETTINGS.
2. Touch Voice.
3. Turn off Speech output.
