1. Touch > Gmail.

2. Do one of the following:

   • If this is your first time opening the Gmail app, touch Add an email address.
   • If you have been using Gmail with another account, touch , then next to your account name, touch > Add account.
3. Touch the type of account to add, then touch Next.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your email address, password, and account options.

For most email accounts, that's all you need to do. But, if that isn't successful, you'll need to contact your email provider to get this information:

• Server type (POP or IMAP)
• Address and port number for incoming and outgoing server
• Security type and certificate acceptance for incoming and outgoing server

Then, touch Manual setup when setting up your account.

If you use Microsoft Office Outlook on your work computer, your phone can synchronize emails, calendar events, and contacts with the Microsoft Exchange server. Before you start, you'll need the following information from your company's IT department:

• Email address
• Email password
• Domain name
• Username
• Server name
• Security type/SSL settings
• Client certificate requirement

To set up corporate email:

1. Open the Gmail app.

2. Do one of the following:

   • If this is your first time opening the Gmail app, touch Add an email address.
   • If you have been using Gmail with another account, touch , then next to your account name, touch > Add account.
3. Touch Exchange and Office 365.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your email address, password, and other information from your company's IT department.

To change to a different account:

1. Touch and next to the account name, touch .
2. Touch the account name.
