When you're busy and don't want interruptions, you can set your phone to screen incoming calls and messages, based on the type, sender, or your defined downtime. Or set it to allow no interruptions at all.
When your phone is set to allow only priority interruptions,
appears in the status bar.
When your phone is set to not interrupt,
appears in the status bar.
You can set up regular downtimes when you don’t want to be interrupted. Your phone will accept only high priority calls and messages and will not notify you of any others.
To define your downtime:

During other times, you can easily switch between screening calls and messages and allowing all interruptions; see the sections below.
Prevent the delivery of all events, reminders, calls, and messages.
Set the duration (such as the next 30 minutes) or touch Indefinitely.

When the duration expires, notifications will sound and vibrate again. If you chose Indefinitely, be sure to turn sounds back on when needed.
