Add attachments

To send attachments, your data plan must support MMS (multimedia messages), and mobile data must be turned on.

Send picture or video

You can attach saved pictures and videos, or take one right from your message that has an optimised, reduced file size.

  1. Touch > Messaging.
  2. Compose a reply or a new message.
  3. Touch .

  4. Choose one:

    • Pictures: attach a saved picture.
    • Capture picture: capture a new picture.
    • Videos: attach a saved video. (Many videos are too large to share via text message.)
    • Attach video: capture a video in a low resolution for small file size.
  5. Touch .

Send slideshow

  1. Touch > Messaging.
  2. Compose a reply or a new message.
  3. Touch > Slideshow.

  4. Touch Slide 1 and do any of the following:

    • Touch Add picture, then navigate to and select the first picture.
    • Touch > Add slide > Add picture to add more pictures.
    • Touch to preview the slideshow, remove the current picture, add music, add a slide, set the duration between photos, and set the layout position of the text and photos.
    • Type your (optional) message.
  5. Touch Done.
  6. Touch Send. If you don’t send the message, it is saved as a draft.

Send ringtone

  1. Touch > Messaging.
  2. Compose a reply or a new message.
  3. Touch > Audio.
  4. Select the ringtone and touch OK.
  5. Touch .

Send contact’s information

  1. Touch > Messaging.
  2. Compose a reply or a new message.
  3. Touch > Name card.
  4. Select the contact and touch OK.
  5. Touch .

Record and send audio message

TipTo send the recording to yourself, select Me in the To: field.
  1. Touch > Messaging.
  2. Compose a reply or a new message.
  3. Touch > Record audio.
  4. Type a message if you want to include one.
  5. To start recording audio, touch and hold . When done, lift your finger.
  6. Use the buttons to play, replace or remove the audio file.
  7. Touch .

You can use the recording as a ringtone.
