You can select the type of notifications to show, set them to show or not during the night, and limit content to control your privacy.
Sometimes it's more convenient to receive messages on your computer. The Chrome extension Chrome extension lets you send and receive text messages, reply to phone calls with texts, and see incoming and missed call notifications--all from your computer.
