Make calls

You can place calls from the Phone app, the People app, or other apps or widgets that show contact information. Wherever you see a phone number, you can usually touch it to dial.

To dial by voice, touch on the Google Search widget and say "Call" followed by the number or contact name.

To make a call with the Phone app:

1. Touch .

2. Do any of the following:

   • On the DIALLER tab, enter a number and touch . If you enter a wrong number, touch .

     TipTo save this number for one of your contacts, touch > Add to contacts.
   • To call contacts that you've starred, touch the tab.

   • To return a call, touch . Touch a call to return it.

     TipTo clear this list, touch > Clear call log.

To call frequent numbers with one touch from your home screen, add a Direct dial widget.
