Get phone notifications and messages on your computer

Sometimes it's more convenient to receive messages on your computer, like during a meeting, when your phone is charging in another room, when your phone is in your bag, or when you've accidentally left it at home. The Motorola Connect Chrome extension lets you send and receive text messages, reply to phone calls with texts, and see incoming and missed call notifications--all from your computer. The Google Chrome browser for Windows, Mac OS and Chromebook supports Chrome extensions.

Install Motorola Connect Chrome extension

  1. On your phone, go to Settings > Motorola Connect.
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions. Once you touch the agreement to use Motorola Connect, Motorola sends an email with simple instructions for installing the Chrome browser extension (and the Chrome browser) on your computer.
  3. Using your computer, open the email and follow the instructions to download and install the products onto your computer.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to get started.

Once you install the Chrome extension, Motorola Connect opens in the corner of Chrome. From the Motorola Connect window, click > Help to learn how to use the extension.
