Use Google Now
Google Now delivers customised cards, based on information from your Google services (locations, searches, web history, Gmail and calendar events) and from third-party products that you allow Google to access.
For example, view your team's scores when they are playing or find popular restaurants when you travel.
Start using Google Now
You must have a Google account on your phone to use Google Now. (SETTINGS > ACCOUNTS)
Swipe up from the navigation bar at the bottom of any screen, or touch the Google Search widget on the home screen.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
- Enable location services when prompted; you can also enable them later in your settings.
- Touch Yes, I'm in.

> Sample cards.Over time, Google Now will start delivering customised notifications and cards.
Use cards
When you've set up Google Now, you can:
View cards any time. Swipe up from the navigation bar at the bottom of any screen. Or touch the Google Search widget on the home screen.
- View cards from notifications. When a card is updated, you receive a notification. Swipe the status bar down and touch the notification to open it or swipe it sideways to dismiss.
- Get details or to take action. You can touch some cards for more details or to take action, such as look into a restaurant.
- Dismiss a card. When you have finished with a card, swipe it sideways.
Turn Google Now off
Turning off Google Now stops the display of cards and returns Google Now settings to their defaults.
Scroll to the bottom of the Google Now screen and touch
> Settings.- Slide the switch to OFF.
