You can share your phone's mobile data connection with a single computer via USB tethering or Bluetooth tethering. You can also share your data connection with multiple devices at once by turning it into a Wi-Fi hotspot. You can add encryption to your hotspot to prevent unauthorised access.
Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable.
You'll see
in your notifications.
To stop the connection, uncheck USB tethering, then disconnect your phone and computer.
Check Portable Wi‑Fi hotspot and plug your phone in to charge. Using the hotspot really drains the battery!
You'll see
in the status bar, indicating that your hotspot is active. Devices can connect by entering the SSID and password.
