Show your phone’s screen on HDTV with Wireless Display. Play a slideshow or games, watch movies, browse the web, use your apps--whatever you do on your phone is mirrored on your HDTV. To get started, you need a Miracast™ compatible HDTV or a Miracast wireless display adapter to connect to your HDTV (available at electronics retailers). After an easy set up, your devices communicate directly and do not require a shared Wi‑Fi router connection.
Pair your devices
To pair your phone with a wireless display adaptor or Miracast-compatible HDTV:

Do one of the following:
- To pair with a wireless display adapter, install the adapter on your HDTV according to the manufacturer’s instructions. You’ll see a pairing or connection screen on your HDTV.
- To pair with a Miracast-compatible HDTV, turn it on and set it to pair with a device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. You’ll see a pairing or connection screen on your HDTV.
- On your phone, swipe the status bar down with two fingers and touch
Settings > Display
> Wireless Display. - Slide the Wireless Display toggle to ON. Your phone searches for display devices.
- In the DISPLAYS list, touch the name of your wireless adapter.
- Your phone will start connecting to the wireless display. If prompted to enter a PIN, enter your PIN, which may be visible on the HDTV.
The devices connect, and your phone screen is mirrored on your HDTV. When Wireless Display is on, you see 
in the status bar.
For instant connection to the last display used the next time you turn on Wireless Display, on the phone’s Wireless Display screen, check Auto-connect.
Turn Wireless Display off or on
Swipe the status bar down with two fingers.

Touch icon to quickly turn Wireless Display off or on, or to connect to a device. If you selected Auto-connect, your device will automatically connect to the last display used.

Or, add a Wireless Display widget to any home screen.
Performance tips
For best performance:
- Stay 3 - 20 feet from your compatible display or adapter, and within the same room if possible. If you experience problems, move closer.
- Stay away from microwave ovens or cordless phones to avoid interference.
- Turn off Bluetooth during a Wireless Display session.
- If the edges of your phone screen appear cut off on the HDTV, adjust the HDTV's display settings. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- When streaming data over Wi‑Fi, stay within 15 feet of your home access point.
- Set your home access point to 5GHz.
