Droid Zap lets you send photos and videos to friends nearby and catch what they send with a simple gesture. The free app is installed on your phone, and you can share it with friends who use any Android devices.
Open the photo or video and swipe up with two fingers.

When you zap content, you’ll hear a notification tone (when sound is on) and feel vibration (always).
You’ll see a message reminding you to notify your friends to look for something you sent and
in the status bar during the active session. When the session expires, the notification disappears.
To look around for zaps to catch, swipe down with two fingers on any screen.

.For more privacy, lock content you send with a randomized code:
Settings > Droid Zap.The next time you zap content, a code will show on the screen and on the notification. Recipients need the code to unlock the content.

Settings > Droid Zap.Droid Zap can transfer content over Wi-Fi and mobile networks. To reduce data consumption, set it to transfer over Wi-Fi only. Or, you can turn it off completely.
