When you tilt your phone sideways, it automatically switches from portrait to landscape mode, which is great for viewing photos and videos. But sometimes auto rotate can be a bother.

To lock into portrait mode:

1. Drag the status bar down with two fingers and touch   Settings > Display.
2. Uncheck Auto-rotate screen.
