When you’re driving, the Talk to me feature can automatically switch your phone to hands-free mode. While you stay focused on the road, the phone will announce callers, read text messages, and respond with a brief text message to let others know that you're driving.

1. Touch > Assist.
2. Touch the activity card for Driving.
3. Check Talk to me.
4. Touch and select options to announce callers, read aloud text messages, and send a quick response.

The Talk to me feature only announces the message sender and reads text messages from people who are contacts on your phone.

Assist uses your device's accelerometer and location data to determine if you’re driving. If you are a passenger, or riding a bus or train, you can view the notification and touch I'm not driving to indicate that you are not driving.

If your device is connected with a Bluetooth device, Assist allows the Bluetooth device to handle incoming calls. In this case, you can use your Bluetooth device to annouce incoming calls if it supports this feature.
