Use voice commands

Interact with your device without touching it. Just say the launch phrase and it will be ready for your commands, even when it's asleep on the table or a passenger seat. Tell your phone to navigate to an address, snooze your alarm, play your favourite song, check your voicemail and much more. It learns your voice (after a short training session) so that nobody else can trigger the phone.

Train launch phrase

  1. Drag status bar down with two fingers and touch   Settings > Touchless Control.

Note Not available in all languages.
  2. The first time you use Touchless Control, you are prompted to accept the Privacy Policy. Touch Yes, I'm in.
  3. Touch Record.
  4. Touch Train launch phrase.
  5. Record your voice saying "OK, Google now" several times so your phone can identify you. Use the same intonation each time.

Use voice commands
