About LED colours

The multi-colour LED on the front of your phone blinks different colours to indicate different things:

• Green: new message or notification
• Red: Battery nearly depleted, or charging from an almost dead battery with just enough power to turn on the phone while charging
• White: Charging from a dead battery without enough power to turn on the phone (changes to red when the battery has charged to that status)

If you see a different LED colour, such as blue or purple, a third-party app may be controlling the LED. For example, Facebook may use blue for its notifications. See third-party application settings for more details.
