You can choose what the programmable button does:

• Use it with gestures (long press or double press) to open a selected app or perform a selected action like checking notifications.
• Or, use it for push to talk mode with the Mototalk app or other push to talk apps on Play Store.

1. Go to Settings > Programmable button.
2. Touch Double press, then select the app to open or action to perform.
3. Touch Long press, then select the app or action.

To use the side button with a push to talk app:

1. Go to Settings > Programmable button.
2. Turn Push to talk on .
