About LED colors

The multi-color LED on the front of your phone blinks different colors to indicate different things:

• Green: New message or notification
• Red: Battery nearly depleted, or charging from a nearly dead battery with just enough power to turn on the device while charging
• White: Charging from a dead battery without enough power to turn on the device (changes to red when the battery has charged to that status)

If you see a different LED color, like blue or purple, a third-party app may be controlling the LED. For example, Facebook may use blue for its notifications. See third-party application settings for more details.
