1. If needed, adjust settings such as flash or photo size.

2. Frame your subject:

   • To zoom, drag the viewfinder up or down.

   • To set focus location, touch the viewfinder then drag the focus ring.

   • To change the exposure, slide the control on the focus ring to lighten or darken the shot.

     

3. To take the photo, do one of the following:

   • Touch .
   • Touch & hold to take a rapid series of photos.
   • Touch for a timer.
   • To touch anywhere on the screen instead of using , touch Settings and turn on Tap anywhere.

4. To review your photos and videos, touch thumbnail at bottom right. Then:

   • To view all thumbnails, touch the screen, then touch to open the Photos app.
   • To view photos later, open the Photos app or other photo app you installed.

1. On the viewfinder, touch to switch to the front camera. Or, twist your phone twice.

2. If needed:

   • Adjust the beauty filter.
   • Adjust mirroring by touching Settings > Selfie photo mirror.

3. To take the photo, do one of the following:

   • Touch .
   • Touch for a timer.

1. On the viewfinder, touch > .
2. Frame one side of the scene.
3. Touch , then slowly pan horizontally or vertically across the scene. Keep your motion smooth and use a steady speed.
4. When you reach the end of your scene, touch .

View panoramas

In the Photos app, you'll see on thumbnails of images when you can use immersive view.

1. Touch the thumbnail to open the photo.

2. Do any of the following:

   • To move the photo around with your finger, touch .
   • To experience the scene as if it were surrounding you, touch and move your phone around you.

To stitch your panoramic photos into 360° immersive photospheres and share them with others, download the Google Photo Sphere or the Facebook 360 apps.

1. Swipe the viewfinder screen to the left, and touch the photo to share.
2. Touch .
3. Select the way you want to share.

You can also:

• Share multiple photos at once.
• Copy photos to your computer.
• Display your photos on an HDTV.
• Print photos from your phone.
