Add attachments

To send attachments, your data plan must support MMS (multimedia messages), and cellular data must be turned on.

Send attachments

You can attach saved pictures and videos, or take one right from your message that has an optimized, reduced file size.

  1. Touch > Messages.
  2. Compose a reply or a new message.
  3. Touch .

  4. Choose one:

    Take a new photo or video and attach it.
    Attach one or more photos or videos.
    Attach an emoji.
    Attach a sticker.
    Record and attach a voice message.
    Attach a map and link to your current location.
  5. Touch .

Send contact’s information

  1. Touch > Messages.
  2. Open a conversation with the contact to share.
  3. Touch the contact's icon to open the contact's information. (Touch the icon, not the name. Touching the name opens the conversation instead of contact information.)
  4. Touch > Share.
  5. Touch the recipient's name, or touch Messages to start a new message.
  6. Touch .
