Block calls and texts

About blocking

If you don’t want to get calls or texts from a certain phone number, you can block it. When the number tries to contact you, your phone declines automatically.

In Google Messages, you can block a number so you don't receive notifcations for incoming messages. In the message list, touch & hold the number, then touch .

Block a number

  1. Touch .
  2. Touch .
  3. Touch & hold a call from the number to block.
  4. Touch Block number.

Unblock a number

  1. Touch .
  2. Touch > Settings > Call blocking.
  3. Touch by the number to unblock.

  2. Touch > Spam & blocked.
  3. Touch the blocked conversation.
  4. Touch Unblock.
