You can shorten the names below the icons in your app tray.

1. Touch and hold a blank space on your Home screen.
2. Touch Home settings.
3. Turn Icon label display double lines off .

If you have multiple Home screen, you swipe to move between them. By default, they’re a line; when you get to the last one, you need to swipe the other direction to go back. If you’d prefer them to be a circle, so you can swipe one direction to move from last to first, change settings:

1. Touch and hold a blank space on your Home screen.
2. Touch Home settings.
3. Turn Home screen loop on to move in a circle between last and first Home screens.

If you want the icon for the Phone app and Messages app to indicate when you’ve missed a call or have unread messages:

1. Touch and hold a blank space on your Home screen.
2. Touch Home settings.
3. Turn Unread badge.
4. Select if you want to see missed calls and/or unread messages.
